Zeke Manyika (1955- ) is a drummer best known for his work in the UK new wave movement and his efforts as a solo singer/songwriter.

Though born in the Federation of Rhodesia & Nyasaland (today known as Zimbabwe), he’s lived in Britain most of his life. In 1982, he joined famed indie band Orange Juice, who he worked with until they broke up two years later. Manyika also guested on recordings by Edwyn Collins, Paul Weller & The Style Council and played on three The The albums.

Manyika has pursued a solo career since 1984, releasing several albums and EPs in the 1980s. Since 1998, he’s collaborated frequently with house music duo Faze Action, who most recently have released the 2016 EP Mangwana together.
