Chris Harms (born January 22. 1980) is a German vocalist, cellist, and producer best known as the vocalist for the rock band Lord of the Lost.

Harms grew up in Hamburg, Germany, and was early on promised a great career as a cellist.
He still occasionally plays the cello in Lord of the Lost and is featured as a cellist on Matteo Fabbianis “Ghost of Hamburg”.

In 1992, around the age of twelve, he was given a copy of Roxette’s Joyride which sparked his inner rock star, and Roxette is one of the bands that inspires him to this day.
Harms started writing songs at the age of fifteen, and four years later, in 1999, he founded the band Philiae. In 2004 he co-founded the band The Pleasures.

At the same time, Harms worked at the disco “J’s” in Hamburg, which was attacked early in the morning of April 29th, 2000.
Due to injuries from the attack, Harms got addicted to prescription drugs which soon spiralled into other addictions.
Trying to get his life straight, Harms started studying sound engineering at SAE Institute.

In 2007 Harms founded Lord of the Lost as a solo project, which quickly became a full-sized band.

In addition to being a musician, Harms is working as a producer at Chameleon Studios in Hamburg. Some of the artists he has produced for are Joachim Witt, Subway to Sally, and Swiss & Die Andern.
