Moon Taeil (문태일), born June 14, 1994, and known professionally as TAEIL (태일), is a South Korean performer. TAEIL is the main vocalist of K-Pop group NCT and its sub-units NCT 127 and NCT U.
On April 10, 2016, TAEIL made his debut with NCT U’s promotional single “WITHOUT YOU.” Later that year, on July 7, 2016, TAEIL went on to debut as a member of NCT 127 with the group’s first title track “소방차 (Fire Truck).”
TAEIL’s solo ventures include his participation in original soundtracks —such as his pre-debut release “단 한 사람 (Because Of You)” and the popular 스물다섯 스물하나 (Twenty-Five Twenty-One) song “Starlight”— and collaborations with different artists —like “보라색 (Purple)” with SOHLHEE, “Love Right Back” with DJ Raiden, and “저 달 (The Moon)” with Moon Sujin.
