Love and Death

Love and Death is the heavy rock/metal outlet for KoЯn guitarist Brian “Head” Welch, who is both guitarist and lead vocalist of his band. Accompanying Welch is Isaiah Perez on drums, JR Bareis on guitar and additional vocals, and Jasen Rauch, bassist for Breaking Benjamin.
The band spawned out of Welch’s solo work with the single “Paralyzed”, which later carried over to their Tooth & Nail Records debut EP Chemicals in 2012. About eight months later, the band’s first album Between Here & Lost came out. The band later broke away from Tooth & Nail and stayed with their other label, Digitally Sound. The band stayed pretty inactive after their first album with the exception of their 2016 single “Lo Lamento”. It wasn’t until 2021 that Love and Death released another album, Perfectly Preserved, also released through Digitally Sound and featured an updated lineup.
