Sheitan is an Indo-Belgian rapper, songwriter, singer and producer. The 22-year-old grew up in a diverse household filled with music from around the world. His parents made him listen to 70s and 80s music artists in the Bollywood industry Lata Mangeshkar and Kishore Kumar. His sister introduced him to boy bands and pop music such as the Backstreet Boys and *NSYNC.

Sheitan is a strong lyricist and storyteller. His passion for poetry turned to hip-hop once he came across Eminem and 2Pac in his teenage years. He realised that rappers were poets who could perform their works in a rhythmic form with music, and after listening to rappers like Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole, Sheitan knew that he had to pursue music as a career for himself.

Sheitan’s passion for music and live performance found him moving to LA to attend Musicians Institute in 2017. Under the mentorship of Old Man Saxon, Sheitan perfected his craft and graduated with a Certificate in the Independent Artist Program in 2019.

In August 2019, Sheitan moved to London to get a BA in Music Production and Sound Engineering, for which he is on track to graduate in June 2022. During his time in London, he met fellow graduate and producer Josh Anton and began to work on a long-term project set to release in mid-2021.
