blonded is a record label, music merchandise & apparel company founded by Frank Ocean and the publisher of Ocean’s Apple Music 1 online radio show blonded RADIO. Since 2017, the label has released all of Ocean’s music. The company sells a variety of physical music merchandise & apparel, including limited runs of LPs, CDs, T-shirts, sweatshirts, shorts, and more, available for purchase on blonded.co.

blonded RADIO debuted on February 24, 2017, and new episodes will air intermittently on Apple Music 1 (formerly Beats 1), the flagship music radio station of Apple Music. Episodes feature a curated playlist, interspersed with skits & interviews, and often premiere new singles by Ocean at an episode’s conclusion. The musical lineup includes artists of various backgrounds & genres, including the likes of Aretha Franklin, Usher, Thundercat, Whitney Houston, Mary Lou Williams, and many others. The show has premiered many new singles by Ocean, including “Chanel,” “Biking,” “Lens,” and others, which are often accompanied by remixed versions of songs past & present.

The record label & radio show are named after Ocean’s second studio album, Blonde. The label was originally founded under the name Fresh Produce. On August 19, 2016, Def Jam Recordings & Fresh Produce published Ocean’s visual album Endless; the following day, Ocean released his long-awaited second studio album Blonde under a separate label, Boys Don’t Cry. The release of Endless fulfilled Ocean’s remaining album contract with label Def Jam, allowing him to maintain the publishing rights of Blonde. In 2017, Ocean renamed Fresh Produce to blonded, marking a new era operating as an independent record label.
