From his sultry RnB melodies to his captivating rap lyrics, Nyemike’s range of musical talents is as diverse as his background. Born to Nigerian parents in Virginia, Alexandria. Nyemike Nwonye has lived in Chicago and Calgary, Canada giving him a wide perspective on hip hop music and what it means to be a musician. He draws inspiration from artists such as Jay Z, Biggie, Drake, MF Doom and Childish Gambino and uses music as a way to reflect on and channel his emotions. He believes that music is therapeutic and aims to use it to allow those going through tough times to feel and overcome what they are unable to express in words.
