Nathan Lewis (born May 12, 1999), known by his stage name sadeyes, is a 23 year-old musician who creates a mix of genres including alternative rock, rap, emo rap, and trap. Most of his music revolves around his personal experiences with depression, heartbreak, loss and suicide along with suicidal thoughts.

Born in Portland, Oregon, sadeyes started making music when he was 17 and started releasing music when he was 18, only three years after he dropped out of high school.

The name “sadeyes” originated back when he was in high school and his classmates used to tell him that he had sad-looking eyes.

In 2018, sadeyes released a collaboration with 9TAILS and guardin titled “8pm”, first project and debut EP Girls Rule and “you deserve better”, the second track on his debut album unscathed available only on SoundCloud, finishing 2018 with his most popular single “jaded”.

In mid-2019, he was featured on “Break Ups Suck Ass” and later released his sophomore EP downpour.

In 2022, sadeyes released 3 projects in less than 5 months, these projects being monarch, grim and the sequel to his sophomore EP, downpour II, and finishing the year off with molotov.

Starting 2023 of with the single “paperweight” and announcing yet another EP, patient death, set to release on his birth day.
