Free Moral Agents was the side project of The Mars Volta’s prolific keyboardist, Isaiah “Ikey” Owens (formed between 2003 and 2006). It was a highly-praised yet short-lived venture, due to Owens' untimely death in 2014.
The line-up consisted of Ikey, Mendee Ichikawa, Dennis Owens, Ryan Reiff, Reid Kinnett and Jesse Carzello.
