G*59 Records

G*59 Records is an independent record label formed in 2013 in Louisiana by rappers Ruby da Cherry, $crim and Ramirez. The label would later sign Germ, Shakewell, Night Lovell and Chetta. Since January 2021, G*59 distribute their releases via The Orchard.
The G stands for Grey — colour obtained by mixing black and white — and represents the skins colour diversity amongst the people involved in the label. They are from the East and South ends of Highway 59, which brought the 59 number into the name.
