Keidran Jones (born April 15, 1987), known professionally as Iyaz, is a singer-songwriter and dancer, residing from British Virgin Islands.

Before music, Iyaz studied digital recording at the New England Institute of Technology. Iyaz began to release music in 2009, to which he earned radio success in the Caribbean on the track “Island Girls” by Out Da Box Family. That same year, Sean Kingston found Iyaz through MySpace and later got him signed to Beluga Heights Records. Michael Nguyen would later introduce Iyaz to the head owner and producer J.R. Rotem.

Iyaz would get a taste of mainstream success that year with the single “Replay” on July 7, 2009. The song was a smash hit, to which it topped the charts worldwide, peaking at #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 and peaked at #1 on the UK Singles Charts. Iayz would continue to capture the success of “Replay” with the release of his second single “Solo,” although the song wouldn’t top the charts. This would lead up to the release of his debut studio album, Replay, which released on June 4, 2010, to which the album peaked at #29 on the UK Album Charts.

Following Replay’s release, throughout the span of 2011 and 2012, Iyaz would collaborate with bigger artists such as Miley Cyrus, Big Time Rush, Demi Lovato, and Akon. Iyaz would then continue to see success with the song “Pretty Girls,” in which the song peaked at #43 on the Billboard Hot 100. The following year, Iyaz would leave Beluga Heights, to later get signed with an independent label, Rekless Music.

On April 8, 2015, Iyaz released his long-awaited sophomore studio album, Aurora, although the album would not meet the same success as Replay did, as the album did not chart anywhere.
