An East Coast group associated with Chubb Rock, made up of Rob Swinga (left), Hot Dog (centre) and DJ FM (right). The group released one album (A Hero Ain’t Nuttin' But A Sandwich in 1992 on Select Records) with two singles, appeared on some other East Coast tracks, primarily Chubb Rock’s songs as well as Hot Dog having a verse on Black Sheep’s ‘Pass the 40’. The A.T.E.E.M. were once backup dancers for Chubb Rock before merging into a Rap group.
The famous Chubb Rock often referred to A.T.E.E.M. as part of his extended group. The A.T.E.E.M.’s only album was more or less a group effort – produced by the Trackmasters (Poke and Red Hot Lover Tone), Chubb Rock features on at least 3 tracks, and so does Tone. Likewise, the same group has appeared on Chubb Rock’s albums such as The One or I Gotta Get Mine Yo.
