Uroš Umek, better known as UMEK, is a Slovenian techno producer and DJ. He was born on the 16th of May in 1976 in the capital Ljubljana, Slovenia.

He is the founder of the techno labels Consumer Recreation and Recycled Loops (1999), Earresistible Musick (2001), and 1605 (2007).

In his career he was rewarded with a couple of prizes:
