Caleb Sheppard (born February 24 1996), better known by his stage name Lil Gnar (also known as GNAR), is a skateboarder, fashion designer and rapper coming straight out of Oakland, CA. He rose to fame in 2017 after his hit single “Ride Wit Da Fye” featuring Germ.

Before his rap career, Gnar was recognized as a skateboarder and fashion designer for his brand, GNARCOTIC, which has collaborated with G59, DGK and many more.

On the February 13, 2018, Gnar released his debut EP, BIG BAD GNAR SHIT, under Gnarcotic Records alongside Germ.

On, September 28, 2018, Gnar released his debut album, GNAR LiF3. The album contained features from Lil Skies, Travis Barker, IDK and ZillaKami.

On September 20, 2019, Gnar released Fire Hazard, his sophomore studio album. It featured artists such as Lil Tracy, YBN Nahmir, Lil Skies, UnoTheActivist, Craig Xen, Lil Yachty and more. It featured his hit single “Death Note” which was accompanied by a Cole Bennett directed video.

During 2020 and 2021, Gnar was set to release his third studio album, GNAR LiF3 2, the sequel to his debut album. To promote the album, Gnar released multiple singles such as Diamond Choker featuring Lil Uzi Vert, Missiles featuring Trippie Redd, Not The Same featuring Lil Skies, NEW BUGATTI featuring DJ Scheme, Ski Mask The Slump God, Chief Keef, and many more singles.

Gnar announced in early 2022 that plans were changed and GNAR LiF3 2 was cancelled due to a home invasion. Losing the files to his album, he had to remake the album and in result created a new project titled DIE BOUT IT.

DIE BOUT IT, Gnar’s third studio album, finally ended up releasing on May 20th, 2022 with features from Tory Lanez, Yung Bans, Lil Keed, Yak Gotti, Trippie Redd, Germ, D Savage, Lil Uzi Vert, DJ Scheme, Ski Mask The Slump God, Chief Keef, and Lil Skies.

On June 6th, 2022, it was revealed that Chief Keef had teamed up with BMG to launch a new record label titled 43B and Gnar was announced as it’s first signee.
