beartrap
Artist
beartrap was blackbear’s personal publisher beginning in 2012. It has also existed as a label and a music collective.
The publisher is affiliated with Universal Music Publishing Group and BMI. blackbear has since became affiliated with Warner-Chappell and ASCAP, leaving the publisher off in his 2022 album in loving memory.
Other than blackbear’s solo work, beartrap has released the 2017 self-titled debut of mansionz, Stalking Gia’s 2018 EP PTSD, and a few singles. Rad Cat, Tarro, surfclub (RELO & snoozegod), RiFF RAFF, Good Intent, Sevnth, DeathbyRomy, and Lil Richid have also been part of beartrap as a collective.
Since 2020, there has been a merchandising entity and since 2022, there has been another for artist management, founded by him and his managers, TJ Musto and Samantha Maners.
