Nau'jour Lazier Grainger (born January 9, 2000), better known as Toosii or Toosii2x, is a rapper from Syracuse, New York, but moved to Raleigh, North Carolina at the age of 13.

Toosii signed to South Coast Music Group in early 2020, the same label that rose fellow North Carolina rapper DaBaby to prominence. He is known for songs such as “Red Lights,” “Love Cycle,” “Poetic Pain,” and “Sapiosexual.”

He made a name for himself independently, releasing projects such as Label Me Diverse, Hell on Earth, and Why Not Now all in 2017. In the same year, he flew to LA with little money. During his almost month-long stay, he met a record executive but didn’t sign. He then released the mixtapes Who Dat and My Shit Now. After signing to South Coast, he released the mixtape Platinum Heart in February 2020, following it up with Poetic Pain in September. In December 2020, Toosii released a love song-filled EP titled DICKPRESSED.

Beginning 2021, Toosii released his second-highest charting project, Thank You For Believing featuring DaBaby, Key Glock, and Latto, peaking at #25 on the Billboard 200. Toosii later released a deluxe edition featuring Fivio Foreign and Hotboii. Ending 2021, Toosii dropped three singles under the title Pretty Girls Love Toosii consisting of love songs with a guest appearance from Jacquees.

In 2022, Toosii would begin to release three singles leading up to his sophomore album, “Keeper,” “Love Is…,” and “Lonely,” all of which would go viral on the video sharing platform TikTok and would perform as some of his most popular songs. Tracking the success of the tracks, Toosii released his fourth EP, Boy’s Don’t Cry: Men Do in which he touched on several troubles in his previous relationships.

Toosii would first appear in the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 2023 following the release of his highly acclaimed, “Favorite Song” which later appeared in the chart’s top ten. Following the high success of the song, Toosii released his self-titled, debut full-length studio album, NAUJOUR. The album would see the rapper taking an R&B-like course while sticking to his rap roots.
