Marie Ulven Ringheim (born February 16, 1999), better known as girl in red, is a Norwegian singer-songwriter.
She started uploading music to SoundCloud under the user name lyfsuxx, before changing it to girl in red around September 2017.
Her debut EP chapter 1, released in late 2018, saw her receive plaudits from the likes of The Fader, Pigeons & Planes, and Dazed and Confused, with The New York Times listing her music in their top tracks of 2018. Emerging as a key identity within the Bedroom Pop scene, girl in red released her second EP, chapter 2 in 2019. Her debut album, if I could make it go quiet, was released in 2021.
