Born April 6, 1997 and raised In Ilford, East London, 808 Melo is a British UK drill & hip-hop producer. His first steps into music came when his friend introduced him to American drill music – he liked the way they used their drum patterns and various sounds.
So in 2016, he decided to buy a laptop and started off producing on FL Studio.

808 Melo started to make a name for himself with tracks for the likes of 410, CB (7th), Headie One, and K Trap. His style of music set himself apart from other drill producers, bringing in samples from Anime and Egyptian music. After contacting Tottenham rapper Headie One via social media, 808 Melo sent him some beats and made a track called ‘The Jugg’ in 2017. He did numbers, but his standout track “Know Better” helped propel his production work in the spotlight at the beginning of 2018.

808 Melo is also known for all of his productions for late Pop Smoke, who was shot and killed in a home invasion on February 19, 2020. For instance, he produced his high success songs like “Dior” and even “Welcome To The Party.”

He is now currently working with the likes of Young Adz, Big Tobz, Headie One, M.O Music Group, Izzie Gibbs, Sheff G, and more.
