Jean Grae and Quelle Chris are based in Brooklyn and Detroit, respectively.

The two are frequent collaborators, with Chris contributing to Grae’s 2015 project iSweatergawd, her That’s Not How You Do That album series, and their visual-album/audiobook Goodnight Courtney as well as countless songs and singles from other projects.

The two announced their engagement on Twitter, December 3rd, 2017.

Shortly after, they announced their collaborative album Everything’s Fine with the release of the single “OhSh,” featuring Hannibal Buress.
