Oluwatobiloba Daniel Anidugbe (born on May 1, 1994), better known by his stage name Kizz Daniel, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and performer hailing from Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria.

Kizz Daniel’s interest in music started at a young age, while he honed his skills studying Water Resources Management and Agrometeorology at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta. After graduation, Kizz Daniel began his music career by performing at local gigs and releasing his music independently.

He caught the attention of the music industry with his breakout hit single, “Woju,” which topped charts in Nigeria and beyond. The success of the song led to a record deal with G-Worldwide Entertainment, which produced his debut album New Era in 2016. The album featured hit singles such as “Mama” and “Jombo” which earned Kizz a much far loyal fan base.

However, Kizz Daniel’s relationship with G-Worldwide Entertainment turned sour, leading to a legal battle over his contract. In 2017, he left the label and started his own imprint, Flyboy Inc, under which he released his second studio album, No Bad Songz, in 2018. The album showcased Kizz Daniel’s versatility as an artist and included popular tracks like “One Ticket” featuring Davido and “Madu.”

Kizz Daniel is known for his unique sound, which blends Afrobeats with elements of highlife, hip-hop, and R&B. He is also recognized for his songwriting skills, often penning heartfelt lyrics that connect with listeners. His music has earned him several awards and nominations, including the Headies Award for Best R&B/Pop Album in 2016 and 2018 and the Nigeria Entertainment Award for Best Male Artiste in 2019. He then released his third studio album, King Of Love, in 2020, as well as his 2021 EP, Barnabas which gained him a far larger audience.

He later on rose to the spotlight with his first single of the year with his May 2022 track, “Buga.” the song was widely appreciated during the covid era, confirming Kizz Daniel as a prominent artist in Nigeria and beyond.
