Ant Clemons

Artist

Ant Clemons is a singer-songwriter and is a New Jersey native who moved to Los Angeles in early 2017 to expand his musical network. He is also Jeremih’s friend and collaborator.

He was noticeably featured on Kanye West’s 2018 track “All Mine,” that he kicks off with an infectious, falsetto flow chorus.

He explained to Genius that he first started creating music as a form of therapy. “I grew up singing in church and around the house, but I started creating my own music around 2009 as an outlet to get through my parents divorce,” he said, noting that this experience helped develop his passion for music.

Ant was heavily involved in the making of Kanye West’s ill-fated ninth studio album Yandhi, and he notably featured on “Everything We Need” and “Water” from the project’s successor, JESUS IS KING. Clemons also had writing credits on “Selah.”

He released his debut album HAPPY 2 BE HERE on February 28, 2020. It includes features from R&B superstar Ty Dolla $ign and production legends Timbaland and Pharrell Williams.

Clemons is also an accomplished writer. His name shows up in the writing credits for songs by artists like Camila Cabello, Beyoncé, Teyana Taylor, Kali Uchis, 6LACK, The Game, among others.
