Singer-songwriter Clinton Kane (b. November 26, 1998) is a Philippines native from Perth, Australia, who got his start off of YouTube. Specifically two of his original songs “this is what a toxic relationship feels like” and “this is what having a massive crush on someone feels like.” This sporadic beginning of a series ended up being the focus of his debut EP this is what it feels like, which features five live re-recordings of the aforementioned songs.

2020 proved to be a promising year for Clinton, as a collaboration with DJ Martin Garrix titled “Drown” was released on February 27, which garnered over +100 million streams on streaming services, as well as “i don’t want to watch the world end” being yet another example of the Australia native’s ability to convey emotion into 3 minutes.

Following the successful year, Clinton released the highly anticipated “CHICKEN TENDIES,” which amassed to become his first song to enter the Billboard Hot 100 chart, landing at #88.
