A rap duo formed by MC TP and King Hurst
The duo formed in 2017. Originally supposed to be Boom Bap based (hence the reason why BRB stands for Bring Rap Back) but the duo quickly jumped to releasing hard trap tracks with heavy bass, well delivered rhymes from King Hurst and screaming vocals and sinister rhymes from MC TP.
As of December 2020, the duo decided to start a whole new collective with their abbreviated name as “TCV” (TCV!) standing for Trash City Valuables due to the harsh upbringings from the same city and state. MC TP often raps about how he feels extremely out of place in his town, and that perfectly explains how necessary it was to change the name of the duo. Nonetheless, the duo themselves are often referred to as MC TP x King Hurst or King Hurst x MC TP but will no longer release music under the name “BRB”.
The two are in the process of recording their most versatile and ambitious work yet.
