Born in Harare (Zimbabwe), Thabo “KTheChosen” Chinake is a freestyle rapper currently studying business and sonic arts at the University of Calgary in Canada. Although his main goal within hip hop is to build a platform for creatives and aid in artist development, he never shies away from an opportunity to drop a freestyle. He also enjoys spending hours in the studio challenging himself to write lyrics that are both entertaining and enlightening. His style incorporates an off-the-dome prowess inspired by freestyle videos of King Los and a story-telling approach similar to that of Lupe Fiasco, J.Cole and Kendrick Lamar.
