Artist

Robert Acevedo was born in Moca, Espaillat, Dominican Republic in 1998. Raised in Washington Heights (Manhattan) and moving around The Bronx, Rob became a city kid attached to the fast night life. Named after Bob Marley, he grew a liking to music and smoking weed. His music captures the vibe of New York City at 3 in the morning on drugs. After releasing multiple music videos with his friend and cameraman, Pesuto, Rob locked into Plug Studios in the Bronx and found his sound then made his first professionally recorded album “6 Summers”. The album was named after the 6th summer he’s lived through since some of his friends passed away. The summer goes from flashy, drugged infused parties with uptown vibes to dark big city love stories and deep grim thoughts about the future of America and the world. Rob is now working on his second album “Purple” mastering his new sound and style in hip hop.
