Steve Matias Rubio (born February 23, 2001) also known as “Saint Rubio,” is a rapper, songwriter, producer and entrepreneur. From Seaside, California located within the Monterey Bay. He began releasing his music on SoundCloud at the age of 17.
Right around the same time of the SoundCloud Era, where Rubio had released multiple songs, two solo projects and forming a duo with another fellow rapper named Yabraly. Together they would go under the alias $BZ, dropping only one EP titled $Y$TEM$HUTDOWN and two single tracks.
On July 2, 2020 Rubio would announce the release date and track list of his debut album Rubio via Instagram. The album released on July 10, 2020 and was available on all streaming platforms. Rubio is now set to release another album after the success of his debut, the next album is expected to release by the summer of 2021.
