Alex Koss (*April 2000) is a rapper, singer, songwriter and producer from Karlsruhe, Germany. His music can be described as a mixture of melodic rap and contemporary R&B. Some of his songs are in German, others in English.

At the age of 6 Alex began to play classical guitar, resulting in writing his first lyrics at about 12 years old. With the help of his father who is a sound engineer, he was able to find his way into the world of producing and music theory. He went to a high school with a music profile and participated in its big band as an electric guitarist, even going on a concert tour to the USA.

After years of preparation, he released his first single “Hamsterrad” on Soundcloud in 2018, which was followed by “Es ist Zeit”.
In 2019, Alex started a series called "Freestylefriday” on YouTube, in which he performed his own lyrics on instrumentals of modern hits every friday for 12 weeks. That year he released “Wie wir uns verlieren”, “Moves” & “Halftime” as his own, full productions. “Moves” even managed to make it into the radio show “Radio Jam FM Berlin” as a newcomer song. On top of that, Alex gave his first interview live on “Radio X Frankfurt” that year.

Alex´ most recent release “Just A Vibe” is his first song in English and a happy & smooth track to start 2021. Its funky bassline, bouncy 808-drums and atmospheric pads make it very catchy: “We both know that we gon´ be alright” – the tracks theme is romance and having a good time during these weird times we are in.
