Faris Haytham Al-Kayyali (born April 29, 2004), better known by his stage name Knightlight, is a 19-year-old Palestinian Singer-songwriter and producer. Born in Chicago, Illinois, and raised in Houston, Texas, Knightlight began his musical journey at 14 with his first official release, “Breathe,” featuring pop duo Jonathan & Paris, being released in 2019.

Since then, Knightlight has dropped a few other songs, namely “Last Fall” featuring Barmuda (2020), “Barode” with Lool (2021), “White Lies” (2022), and “Gave U Hell” featuring madelaine (2023). White Lies and Gave U Hell are the first set of songs where Knightlight showcases his vocals, both being entirely produced, written, mixed, and sung by Knightlight.

Knightlight’s evolving sound can be heard in his music. Beginning with a more EDM-influenced sound, he moved on to Funk/R&B, French Rap, and full-on pop. His versatility as an artist blends genres with emotionally charged lyricism.

His first official project, an extended play (EP) titled BETTER LUCK NEXT TIME is slated for release in 2024.
