Drogheda four-piece modernlove. have set a new bar for inventive, polished alt-pop. An indie band at heart, Barry, Cian, Daniel and Graham spent much of 2020 rescheduling shows, reassessing their goals and getting together (when lockdown allowed) to write a slew of new radio-ready singles.
They released their debut EP ‘monochrome blue’ in 2021 to rave reviews. Each track delves into the complexities of modern life, confronting the concerns of many a twenty-something; be it romance, rejection, 21st-century communication and the daily impact of all three.
Quickly becoming the next hottest thing in alt-pop scene, modernlove. have been noticed by Spotify with tracks frequently landing on New Music Friday UK, as well as Fresh Finds, Alt-Pop and The Pop List. They have previously also received numerous spots on Channel 4’s Made In Chelsea.
modernlove.’s second EP is due out in 2022.
