Zella Day Kerr, born March 13, 1995, is an American singer-songwriter based in Los Angeles, California. A native of Arizona, she began to take interest in music at a young age, swayed by the records of her parents and her everyday environment.

Day first gained attention in 2012 with her acoustic cover of the song “Seven Nation Army” by The White Stripes on YouTube, of which became widely popular with both the public and critics. In 2014, Day made a great entry into the professional world, releasing her first single “Sweet Ophelia”/“1965” and self-titled EP on Californian B3SCI Records, and has since grown in artist popularity with her debut album Kicker the following year.

Through her lush indie music, Day gives her fans a blend of folk, country, and modern pop-oriented sounds.
