$peedyyy (born Assad Muhammad, on July 22, 2002) is a rapper and humanitarian originally from Houston, Texas, and raised in Los Angeles, California. He grew up in the Crenshaw District near Slauson Avenue. After attending Crenshaw High School, he fell victim to gang-banging in his community, discovering music as a way out by the 10th grade.
He performed his 2019 single “What’s That pt. 1” at the BET Experience Award Show after-party on June 22, and opened for Blueface at InCahoots, sharing a promotional video to his Instagram during that summer.
His music is available on all major platforms, including Spotify, Tidal, Apple Music and YouTube.
