D1 (Supergroup)

D1 is a SoundCloud supergroup formed in the summer of 2017. It primarily consists of rapper Lil Wintr, rapper, singer and producer Despair, producer Shiro, producer, singer and rapper Marcelo, and the late rapper and producer Hella Sketchy.
The group released their first project, the self-titled D1 on June 21, 2017 after purchasing an Airbnb to record in. The EP contained six tracks primarily produced by the group’s members, with Cholopunx appearing on the third track “No Love”. Later on in 2018, graphic designer, model and rapper Keagan Hoffman was added to the group.
Throughout 2018, the group would continue to release a slew of singles on the D1 SoundCloud.
In July of 2019, following the loss of Hella Sketchy, the group purchased an Airbnb in Los Angeles yet again, and continued recording in support of their upcoming second project. On July 29, they released “Temple City Freestyle” and “Wokhardt Factory Freestyle”.
On November 15, 2019, in honor of Sketchy’s passing, the group released their second overall project.
