Tyler Tyrone Thistle (Thizle) started emerging in early 2021 after dropping his album i’m a goner, catch my breath with songs like these are my confessions 2 – Freestyle, nothing – Freestyle, and drown – Freestyle gathering just under 1000 streams. Thizle used this boost to drop a follow-up project just a few months later titled Movements. This is where the real numbers started coming in for Thizle. 2 weeks before the album dropped Thizle dropped PillsNPotions on SoundCloud as a teaser to the album. Little did he know this single would gather a total of 2000 streams on SoundCloud as an exclusive. When the album dropped the numbers followed. On the first day of the album dropping, he hit 1000 streams in the first hour.

After all of this, the rapper decided it was time to start dropping singles before actual album releases. This led to the release of his best performing single to date Hyper. This song was one of the three lead singles for his upcoming project Thizle. When this album dropped it was the nail in the coffin. It was Thizle proving himself as an artist who is here to stay and change the game in his own way. Thizle has been compared to artists like iann dior, Lil Skies, and the late Juice WRLD because of his melodic approach and his dark lyrics on songs like Leave Me Alone In The Darkness, Heartbroken, and All I Have.
