Hailing from Kent, UK, lotusbliss is the result of a literal lifetime of creating, experimenting, noise-making and camaraderie between brothers Seth, Josh and Adam.

Growing up making music together, it was a light hearted conversation in 2018 around favourite band names which sparked the idea that they could and should form their own band. Taking a year to write and craft their sound, lotusbliss’ debut single – the cinematic and striking Beautiful Monotone arrived in Nov 2019. Their debut EP, A Good Death Is a Beautiful Thing followed soon after in Feb 2020, marking the arrival of the group and demonstrating their mastery of pop-rock arrangement and their deep understanding of sonic beauty.

The EP featured lead single Carpet which was met with high praise from a number of respected blog outlets, being described as a “stupendously slick cut of music that subtly teases moody, flittering, psych infused tones… [that] isn’t afraid to comfortably switch dynamics to keep it’s listeners thoroughly on its toes.”

2021 has started with a bang for lotusbliss, with their electric song The Horror (the first single from their sophomore EP) dropping on Jan 15th – their most immediate, fast-paced and hypnotic work to date.

With an indie-rock sensibility, the sound of lotusbliss marries ambient soundscapes, high-octane guitar, raw lyricism and infectious melodies, whilst also taking advantage of the vocal similarity of siblings to blend their voices in and out of unison and harmony.
