He has written many songs for many artists such as One Direction, Maroon 5, Niall Horan, Harry Styles, Thomas Rhett, John Legend, Hey Violet, Pitbull, Jason Derulo, Fifth Harmony, Chris Brown, Nick Jonas, and DJ Snake.

In 2017, JRY released Pray as one of the soundtrack on Fifty Shades Darker (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack).
