pgLang is a multimedia company launched by Kendrick Lamar and Dave Free in March of 2020. Their visual mission statement features Baby Keem, Yara Shahidi, Jorja Smith, and a brief appearance from Kendrick; accompanied with music by Kamasi Washington, an early version of Baby Keem’s August 2021 single, “family ties,” and the intro to Kendrick’s May 2022 release, “We Cry Together.”
