TeeKay, also known as TeeKay Made This, is an artist/producer from Morocco, Fez. His real name is Toufik Kamal, and he was born in Holland on 28/10/1989. The youngest of six children, he grew up in his native Morocco, where he spent much of his youth. But to perfect what he loves most, he prefers to finish his sound engineering studies in Holland.
This young talent began his artistic career at an early age! In 2004, with his first group (D.F.), Teekay built a modest studio in his home’s garage to practice his art and follow his passion to the end. These experiences taught him a lot about music and, above all, about composition. In 2007, he formed a new group and took part in several events in Morocco, including “HipHop du Bled,” where they won first place.
In 2010, he became remarkably productive and decided to leave the group, announcing his first solo album. After a year’s work, Teekay finalized his project, in which he tried to stand out from other artists by developing original and varied themes in his lyrics, using profound lyrics reflecting his experiences, moods, feelings, and way of seeing things.
