Devyn Tyson (b. December 28, 2001), a.k.a Young Devyn, was born and raised in the East New York of Brooklyn to Trinidadian parents. In her early years, she began composing, singing, and recording Soca music, eventually performing and selling her shows and touring with the Soca music legends Machel Montano and Bunji Garlin.

Young Devyn made her debut with her single, “Straight To It,” which was released on February 12, 2021, under Steven Victor’s label, Victor Victor, 4th & Broadway, and Island Records received a good amount of feedback from Rowdy Rebel and more. Her first album, Baby Goat, was released on June 18, 2021.
