ORBIT (オルビット; 오르빗), stylized as ORβIT, is a seven member Japanese-Korean boy group formed of contestants of the first season of Japan’s PRODUCE 101 who were either cut from the program or left due to personal reasons.

On February 1st of 2020, member Yugo was revealed on what was then the ORBIT UNION official YouTube channel – later renamed ORBIT Official. Members would be revealed until the final member, and on February 9, 2020, the group name was revealed, as well as the concept of the group and the fandom name.

ORβIT’s members each represent a planet in the solar system – Yugo (Jupiter), Shunya (Mercury), Yoondong (Venus), June (Mars), Tomo (Neptune), Younghoon (Saturn) and Heecho (formerly Heecheon) (Uranus). EαRTH would be announced as the fandom name, with the color being Lazurite (a type of dark blue mineral). On the 19th of June 2020, the group would release a song with the title of the fandom color – “Lazurite” and later, in November of 2020, release the track “UNIVERSE”. Both tracks would be re-released as tracks on their debut album 00.
