Tony Jeffrey, better known as Tonetta, is a lo-fi rock & pop artist from Toronto, Canada who gained a cult following after uploading questionable music videos with graphic lyrics to YouTube such as Pressure Zone and 81 Prime Inch Ass.
His accounts on YouTube get taken down on an almost regular basis due to violations of terms & conditions.
Tonetta started writing music in 1983, his first song possibly being Drugs Drugs Drugs.
The reason for the unique sound of his music is that Tonetta has not listened to radio, watched TV, bought music or anything of the sort ever since his wife left him in 1983. He started to make music more and more often with the idea of not having any influence from media.
Tonetta receives almost no, if not any money at all from his official releases from Black Tent Press due to shady business deals.
