Mark Allan Hoppus (born March 15, 1972) is an American singer and bassist primarily known as one of the founding members of the pop-punk band blink-182. Growing up with divorced parents, he got into punk and skateboarding in junior high and he received his first bass as a gift from his father when he was just 15 years old.

He formed blink-182 with longtime friend and guitarist Tom DeLonge and drummer Scott Raynor and reached success after playing memorable songs such as “All The Small Things”, “Adam’s Song”, and “I Miss You”. He now remains as the last remaining founding member of blink-182.

He started a band with blink-182 drummer Travis Barker in 2005 called +44 just after blink entered in hiatus. Eventually, blink-182 reunited but Hoppus has still involved himself in various different projects like being part of the alternative rock duo Simple Creatures alongside Alex Gaskarth.
