Hailing from Brooklyn, New York, Brian Vaughn Bradley, Jr., also known as Stro was born in September 27, 1996, and is an American emcee who first got his shine appearing as a contestant in The X Factor performing an original song titled “Stop Looking At My Mom” which was directed towards one of the judges, Simon Cowell. L.A. Reid served as his mentor in the show.

After his TV debut, he created his fourth mixtape, Loser, which was based off his experiences on the show. He then went on to star in an episode of the CBS drama series, Person of Interest, and in 2014, he co-starred in the films Earth to Echo, A Walk Among the Tombstones, as well as the Fox series, Red Band Society, and an appearance on the third season of the drama show, Bull.

Before acting, he released his debut mixtape, B.O.A. (Birth Of Astro) on April 30, 2010 and went on to release seven more mixtapes before releasing his ninth full length effort, Grade A Frequences.

On October 9, 2018, Stro landed a deal with New York rapper Nas on his record label, Mass Appeal Records and then went on to release his first project under the label titled Nice 2 Meet You, Again which he describes the EP to be a “new me and a new beginning” in an interview with Billboard.
