Cam Groves is a rapper from Wells, Maine, characterized by his comedic and relatable lyrics— he’d “rather make you crack up than act tough.” He is a close friend of Spose, and the two artists frequently collaborate.
Cam Groves debuted with a verse in “John Madden,” a song from Spose’s 2008 album Preposterously Dank. However, his first album was 2009’s We Smoked It All— another collaboration with Spose. Groves then served as Spose’s hype man in the wake of “I’m Awesome.”
Groves' first solo album, Hope Something Cool Happens, was released in 2011; he has since released three more solo albums, as well as three more collab albums with Spose.
