Terrace Martin, Robert Glasper, Kamasi Washington, and 9th Wonder are the 4 accredited artists that have formed this group. It started when Martin and Glasper shared their ambitions to create a new group together while on Glasper’s R+R Now tour. They recruited Washington and 9th Wonder, and Dinner Party was born.

Together the group aspire to integrate the old sounds of funk, soul, and jazz with the new sounds of hip-hop; modifying their roots to relate to the new generations.
