Felicia Temple

Felicia Temple

Artist

Born and raised in a musical family, it is hardly surprising that Felicia is as talented as she is – and if you ask her about her musical influences, she will quickly name her grandmother and her father before she names anyone else. She’s been singing since before she could talk, and lists influences like Mariah Carey, Donnie Hathaway and Barbra Streisand. When pressed to talk about why she picked these artists, she refers to their unparalleled power to touch people’s emotions as something she infuses into her own work. Sultry, powerful, and provocative – are just a few of the words that come to mind when one hears Felicia Temple perform for the first time. A contemporary R&B singer/songwriter and pianist, Felicia honed her musical chops at the famed Village Underground in NYC and went on to win over audiences at NYC’s famed SOB’s, DROM and Milk River where she headlined several sold out showcases and opened up for acts including Angie Stone, Keke Wyatt and SWV.

Having grown up in a family full of musicians and artists, her love for writing, producing and performing music is second nature. By day she is saving lives, working as a nurse, and by night the NJ native is making a name for herself by lighting up stages around the world. To date the songbird performed the national anthem at a NY Knicks game at Madison Square Garden, has completed a 4 night headlining tour in Moscow, Russia and has a feature on Joe Budden’s “All Love Lost” album. Her latest EP, Bedroom Chronicles, features six tracks all written and vocally produced by Felicia. Fearless and heartfelt, the EP is truly a genuine endeavor featuring seductive records that draw the listener in like a moth to the flame. Stardom is just around the corner for this songstress. At a time where R&B is once again taking center stage, Felicia is destined to leave her mark on the genre and fans alike.
