Oje Ken Ollivierre popularly known as Protoje, is a reggae singer, and songwriter from Jamaica. His mother is Jamaican singer, Lorna Bennett, best known for her 1972 rendition of “Breakfast in Bed”. His father is a former calypso king from Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

Protoje is one of the intial members of what has been termed the “Reggae Revival” a new wave of reggae music starting around 2012

Protoje collaborates frequently with other revival artists such as Kabaka Pyramid, Chronixx, and Jah9, among others.

Protoje performs with the Indiggnation Band and is the founder and leader of the In.Digg.Nation Collective, an arts collective that has produced artists such as Sevana and Lila Ike.
