Little Mix is a British girl band consisting of members Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Jade Thirlwall, and Perrie Edwards. Jesy Nelson, a previous member of the band, announced her departure from the band to focus on her mental health on December 14, 2020. The group has collaborated with numerous artists, including Jason Derulo, Machine Gun Kelly, Missy Elliot, CNCO, Stormzy, David Guetta and Nicki Minaj.

The group found fame on X Factor UK Series 8. They auditioned separately, but were put in a group by Kelly Rowland. The girls became the first ever group to win the competition and stole the hearts of viewers.

Their first album, DNA, was released in November 2012. The album boasted singles, including smash hits “Wings,” “DNA,” “Change Your Life,” and “How Ya Doin'?” featuring Missy Elliott.

Their sophomore album, Salute, was released a year after in November 2013. Singles included “Move,” “Little Me,” and “Salute.”

Get Weird, the group’s third studio album, was released in November 2015, featuring the singles “Black Magic”, which scored the girls their third #1 single in the UK, “Love Me Like You,” “Secret Love Song” featuring Jason Derulo, and “Hair” featuring Sean Paul.

The girls' fourth studio album, Glory Days, was released on November 18, 2016, with “Shout Out To My Ex” as the lead single. The song won them their first Brit Award for British Single. Other singles include “Touch,” “Power” featuring Stormzy and “Reggaeton Lento Remix” with CNCO. The re-release Platinum Edition of Glory Days was released on the 24th of November 2017 and featured three new tracks alongside exclusive footage.

LM5, their fifth studio album, was released in November 2018. “Woman Like Me,” a track featuring Nicki Minaj, increased the group’s popularity by winning them the fan-voted award for British Artist Video of the Year at the 2019 Brit Awards, and the award for Best Song at the 2019 Global Awards. Another famous track from the album, “Strip,” features Sharaya J. The track pays homage to girls who are insecure, telling them to acknowledge the physical features they have and to praise them as well.

In 2020, they released the single “Break-Up Song”, followed by “Holiday” and “Sweet Melody” as part of the groups' sixth studio album, Confetti, which was released on November 6 2020, met with overall positive reviews from critics.

The group’s original TV show, Little Mix: The Search aired on BBC One later that year. Their final song featuring Nelson´s vocals was a collaboration with UK producer Nathan Dawe titled “No Time For Tears” and was released on November 25, 2020.

The now trio’s seventh studio album, Between Us was released on November 12, 2021. It contains the group’s biggest hits, as well as five new songs: “Between Us,” “No,” “Trash,” “Cut You Off,” and “Love (Sweet Love).” In December of that year, Little Mix announced via an emotional Instagram post that the girl group would be taking a break after they finished touring.
