A1 x J1 is a duo consisting of North West London artist, Phinehas Waweru aka. A1orFundz, and Kent artist Joshua Somerkun aka. J1Mulla.
The two uprising talents gained widespread recognition after achieving a viral hit with their debut single “Latest Trends”, which started out as a viral snippet on the video-sharing social networking service “TikTok”, later being released on February 11th 2021.
Following the critical and commercial success of the single, including landing at Number 2 on the Official UK Singles Charts, the “Latest Trends” remix featuring popular Manchester rapper Aitch, was released a month later, on March 11th 2021.
