Bridgit Claire Mendler (born December 18, 1992), known professionally as simply Bridgit Mendler, is an American singer-songwriter and actress.

She started her acting career in 2004, starring in the animated Indian film, The Legend of Buddha. In 2007, Mendler had an acting role as Pamela in Alice Upside Down. Bridgit has had a lot of acting roles in TV shows and films, such as The Clique (2008), Labor Pains (2009) and Wizards of Waverly Place.

In 2010, Mendler starred as the lead character in Disney Channel’s Good Luck Charlie as Teddy Duncan. The show aired on Disney Channel from April 4, 2010, to February 16, 2014.

In 2012, she released her debut LP, Hello My Name Is…. The album debuted at number 30 on the US Billboard 200 and has sold over 200,00 copies.

After starring as the lead role in Good Luck Charlie, Bridgit didn’t release music until mid-2016. In 2016, she released her first single featuring Kaiydo, called “Atlantis”. After releasing her first single, she released an EP, Nemesis.

In February 2017, Bridgit released Temperamental Love ft. Devontée and in March released the collaboration with Pell called Can’t Bring This Down. In late August, Mendler released Diving ft. RKCB on the 5-year anniversary of Ready Or Not.

As of May 2018, Mendler is part of a graduate program at MIT and states that she will still release another album eventually.
