Tysen Jay Bolding (born February 27, 1986), known professionally as Money Man, is an American rapper, entrepreneur, and business mastermind. Born in NYC but raised in Atlanta, Georgia, he rose to prominence in 2016 with a trio of mixtapes that featured guest spots from Gucci Mane, Young Thug, and Akon, immediately turning the heads of labels and critics across the nation: tracks like ‘Boss Up’ and ‘How It Feel’ caught the attention of Cash Money Records boss Birdman, who signed Money Man on the spot.

Money Man soon changed his mind about the record deal, professing a desire to remain independent and retain complete control over his music and release schedule.

Utilizing cash earned from lucrative cryptocurrency investments He was able to buy his way out of the record deal and take on the rap game solo. The decision has more than paid off; he’s since carved out a successful career by self-releasing a set of independent mixtapes, releasing new music on YouTube, and maintaining a direct connection with fans.
